Rajasthan Centre of Advanced Technology (R-CAT) is formed under the Society Registration Act, 1958 and is managed under the aegis of Department of Information Technology & Communication (DoIT&C), Government of Rajasthan (GoR). R-CAT Campus in Jaipur is developed at the Soochna Kendra Campus, Opposite SMS Hospital.

R-CAT has been established to enhance employability of engineering and technology students and youth of the state looking forward to get trained and absorbed in the emerging technologies industry.
R-CAT has developed partnerships with leading tech OEMs/Training Partners including Apple, Adobe, Autofina Robotics, Cisco, EC Council, Microsoft, Oracle, Phytec, Red Hat, SAS, and VM Ware etc to offer Globally Recognised Courses and Certifications in advanced & emerging IT technologies. Majority of these courses are open to students having background in STEM. Some dedicated creative courses in digital designing are also open to any candidate having completed their high school level education as well.
The courses are offered on high demand areas including Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning (AI-ML), IoT, Blockchain, Augmented Reality/ Virtual Reality (AR/VR), Big Data Analytics, Robotics and Quantum Computing, Digital Media editing & Graphics Design etc.
After its successful launch in Jaipur in August 2022, first spoke of R-CAT was opened in Jodhpur and it has been operational since 13th November 2022. With Budget announcements of 2023-24, R-CAT would soon be expanding its reach to open five new Centres at Ajmer, Bharatpur, Bikaner, Kota & Udaipur.
Apart from offering training programmes in the key technologies for their domain expertise, R-CAT also has embedded Soft Skills and Personality Development to inculcate Meta Skills among our students.
As an IT Finishing School and a Tech Thought Leader, R-CAT engages with key stakeholders in the academia, industry, government, and multilateral agencies to strengthen the IT ecosystem in the state and contribute to preparing industry ready workforce for Rajasthan, India, and the world.
